My sister's woke up a little after 5am on Tuesday morning to little cramps.  Shortly after, she realized her water broke and it was time!  She called Ricky, who had been working all night, told him she would just meet him at the hospital (HAHAHA!) but Ricky of course said "No, wait, I will be there shortly!"  

My sister called my parents I woke up from deep sleep to my dad standing at our door saying "COME ON!  GET UP!  SIS IS IN LABOR!"  I jumped out of bed and we were all ready to leave in about 10 minutes....which explains my lack of beauty in the pictures!!  :)  Luckily Aaron had not been called to work yet, so he was able to stay home with the boys.  

My sister arrived at the hospital in about 2 hours of her water breaking and she was already at a 4 or 5.  I was shocked!  Little Savannah was breech and arrived via c-section.  During the c-section, Sis heard the doctors tell Ricky to get his camera, so she assumed they must be starting.....little did she know they told him to get his camera because they were about to pull Savannah out.  She had no idea they had even started!

It is 6am.....My sister called a little bit ago, HER WATER BROKE!!!  We are on our way to the hospital!!!

Our Easter.

Easter morning....

Discovering what the Easter Bunny (or as Garrett says, Easter Rabbit) brought them - 

Garrett was so cute.  Notice the yellow carton of Whoppers in his Easter basket?  He saw the box and in his sweet little sleepy voice said "Chocolate Milk???"  I guess the only thing he has ever seen in a carton like that is chocolate milk.  

We spent the afternoon at Randy and Dianne's house and had a wonderful time.....

House Update.

Here are lots and lots of pictures from the house in no particular order.  (which really means, we walked around the house a lot and I took pictures when I remembered to, therefore, there is no flow to these pictures....sorry!)

They installed the garage door, which is a HUGE deal to Jackson.  For whatever reason, he calls the actual garage door a "garage door opener."  When people ask about our house or if we go and see the house, he will say "They still have not put up the garage door opener."  Jackson was happy to see our "garage door opener" has now been install.  

His next favorite thing:  The ladder to the attic is now install as well.  He says he NEEDS to go on the ladder to go "up, up, and away!"  

He insists on walking through the squares every time, which results in shoes falling off every time....

Baby Savannah Update.

6 days or less.....  

Savannah is still breech and my sister is scheduled for a c-section next Thursday, April 8th.  My sister had a sonogram last Friday and according to the sonogram, Savannah measured at March 31st for one doctor and April 1st for another.  I really thought my sister would have gone into labor this week....but she hasn't.  The detailed sonograms were almost right on the dot with both boys.  I REALLY wanted her to go into labor today, Good Friday, because Garrett was born on Good Friday too!  I think that would be neat if they both were.  But.....the odds are not looking good for that.  

Every night when I go to bed, I think "Tonight is the night!  Sis is going to call and say she is in labor!"  I even have the boys bag packed just incase we need to leave in a hurry!  

The other night I got in bed around 11:30ish.  As I was laying in bed I heard a high pitch noise.  It sounded like a ringtone, so I thought it must be my parents phone ringing, which would mean it was my sister calling to say she was in labor.  My heart started pounding, I jumped out of bed, ran in the living room, and then stopped to listen for my parents before I opened their door.  As I was standing in the living room, I heard the same noise - but I realized it was coming from the boys' room.  I went into their room and heard their darn little vacuum say "Squeaky Clean!  Catch ya later!" 

So, we wait.....and wait.....carry our phones around.....and wait.  

I am so excited my sister is going to be a mom!  I have loved seeing her change into a mom already these past 9 months.  The past few years it seems like we have been on different paths and I am just so excited to experience motherhood and parenting with her now.

Sis met the boys and I at our house the other day (which by the way, has made so much progress!!!!) The next time she is at our house, she will have baby Savannah in her arms!
